Tips :
•No special vaccinations are required to visit the country, but a medical checkup is recommended.
•Make copies of documents and keep with you in case the originals get lost during travel.
•If you bring cash, try to carry denominations of $20 bills or less; it is very difficult to get change for larger bills.
•Check if your nationality requires a visa to travel to Ecuador.
•Visa, MasterCard and American Express are most likely accepted in big cities, but accepted rarely in small populations.
•Generally gratuity is not mandatory, although some upper-class restaurants include a percentage to the bill.
