•If you bring cash, try to carry denominations of $20 bills or less; it is very difficult to get change for larger bills.

•Check if your nationality requires a visa to travel to Ecuador.

•Visa, MasterCard and American Express are most likely accepted in big cities, but accepted rarely in small populations.
